Dancing sugar plums, geese-a-laying, Santa coming to town, snow-snow-snow: whatever they are, may all your holiday dreams come true.
It's the Eve of Christmas Eve
That's what my family used to call the 23rd of December back when my sisters and I were kids. It had something to do with crazy anticipation and wanting to prolong the holiday just a bit. Or we were just being weird.
Either way, I called my Mom this morning to wish her a happy Eve of Christmas Eve and we laughed at the collective memory.
Such is the power of words.
And that's why this December I want to close out the year with two questions to ponder or journal about. They're among the questions I use with my Master Your Message clients and are designed to help you get really clear on the core of your core messages.
1. What do I want to be known as?
2. When people work with me, they feel...
If you find some quiet time in the next weeks, play around with how you would answer this question or end this sentence. See what comes up for you naturally, without forcing it or trying to get it "right." I guarantee you there is no "right" answer. I don't even think there is just one answer.
Imagine the content goals you could crush with when all your messaging springs from being absolutely clear on what you want to be known as and how people feel when they work with you.
If you want to start 2019 with a solid messaging plan, join me in one of my Content Calendar Build Workshops taking place in early January. Details are here.
