What people were saying about the 2018 Symposium:
A great networking opportunity; a chance to better understand what other I&Rs are doing in Ontario and Canada
A good mix of practical/hands-on topics as well as motivational presentations.
The Symposium is a great opportunity for my professional learning. All of the workshops are great and related to my work. Networking with other peers in other organizations is a great chance to meet face to face with those who I keep on talking to by teleconference or emails.
I really enjoyed both the informal and formal collaboration and networking that took place at the conference.
Good sessions, well done presentations, I love it.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Symposium. It was my first time attending and I had a great time.
There is definitely a benefit from coming together, networking and sharing ideas, successes and challenges we face at our agencies.
Great place to talk with colleagues all over Canada who understand what you are going through, your issues and problems.

IO MPP Outreach Project
This Fall, InformOntario sent USB flash drives to the 124 sitting Members of Provincial Parliament at the Ontario Legislature. Each flash drive included information about InformOntario and the work of its members, including outcome stories, links to storytelling videos created by the members and a list of I&R websites and resource databases. While the response has been small from the MPPs, we are proud to demonstrate the power of Information and Referral to our elected officials.
