Here is a quick update to one of the programs mentioned in the recent email listing our January events.
The Winter Heritage Day event at Walker Ranch Homestead mentioned a tour in the description, however that will not be a part of the program.

Winter Heritage Day at Walker Ranch Homestead
Sunday January 27, 1-3 p.m.
Walker Ranch Homestead, 8999 Flagstaff Road, approximately 7 miles west of Boulder on Flagstaff Road

What did pioneer settlers do in the winter? Learn about typical winter chores and indoor games when you explore the Walker Ranch Homestead. You’ll see a working demonstration in the blacksmith shop and smell food being prepared on the wood stove. Be prepared for cold, windy weather, and to walk in snow.
