This year's Inter-agency and Expert Group on SDG Indicators (IAEG-SDGs) meeting discussed how to ensure vulnerable populations are visible in SDG monitoring while taking into account the feasibility of producing such data.
Linking displacement profiling to neighbourhood profiling
Riham Kowatly is actively engaged in the urban profiling exercises conducted by UN-Habitat in various cities in Lebanon. Ahead of the launch of related Global Alliance for Urban Crises publications, we asked her how their approach compares to displacement profiling.

The energy put into rethinking training materials and the country scenario as well as integrating new sessions was worth it, according to participants' positive feedback. The 2018 Profiling Coordination Training brought together 28 participants from more than 20 countries and diverse professional backgrounds. El Salvador profiling report (English, Mar 2018)
EL SALVADOR

Released in March 2018, the profiling report from El Salvador is now also available in English. The exercise aimed to paint a comprehensive picture of the internal displacement situation caused by violence in the country. The results informed the design and implementation of institutional responses.
