Holiday Message from the Chair

It's hard to believe that we are already at the end of the year. It has been a full 4 seasons of change and I hope that as we move into the holidays you can all take some time to relax, spend time with your loved ones and celebrate all of your successes.

As Volunteer Managers, we are leading and growing a crucial component of what makes our city and communities so valued. And as people, and members of that community, we strive every day to be the best versions of ourselves. But everything in life requires balance and when we work hard, when we are passionate about our programs, the clients that we serve, the projects that we lead, then we need to counter that with moments of quiet and rest.

On behalf of OAVR I'd like to wish everyone a restful and wonderful holiday season and I look forward to what the New Year will bring.

Angela Bégin, OAVR Board Chair
