What makes a great leader? How can you have a lasting impact on those you serve?

Over the last two months, we explored 4 of the 7 Characteristics that define Great Leaders: 1) Love Jesus 2) Love People 3) Involve Members and 4) Keep Learning.

"Having a voice into a person's life (whether adult or child) is the result of a Great Leader."

#5. Know What You Are Teaching
Know your bible, your lesson, your flock and your team. Remember that practice = good... prayer = effective.

#6. Communicate Effectively
Great leaders know how to recognize when folks get it and when to move on.

#7. Understand Styles
There are many different kinds of people in the world. We do them a disservice when we only teach them our way, rather than one where they will learn most effectively.

Can you think of a leader you've served with that was "great" or that had a voice in your life? What set them apart? How did they impact you?
