Wishing you a peaceful, restful and fun-filled Christmas.
'Tis the season of giving but over the last few weeks we have experienced unprecedented levels of support which have left us overwhelmed and humbled.

Firstly, thanks to the generosity of almost 50 existing supporters and new donors, we were successful in reaching our ambitious £20,000 donation target in the week-long BigGive Christmas Challenge, raising almost £45,000 (including matching funds and Gift Aid) for our new project at Mkamenyi Primary.

This was immediately followed by our third annual Christmas Carol Service in London - attended by more than 220 guests (including legendary rocker Sir Rod Stewart!) - which raised a further £7,500.

We have also received £15,000 in corporate donations this month including from Euromonitor, as a result of an employee nomination, and from our long-time corporate partner Aspect Capital, whilst we are also excited to have been chosen as a beneficiary of an epic 300km charity cycle challenge in Kenya next year.

All-in-all it amounts to the most successful period of fundraising in the charity's 10 year history and an even busier than normal New Year in store for our project team!
- Review of 2018 -

We have picked out a few highlights and key achievements in our latest blog post which you might like to take a moment to read, especially if you are new the charity.
