Season's Greetings from the Friends of Ruskin Park

We are looking forward to a break after a busy year. Thank you to everyone who helped make the Frost Fair on 16th December another successful community event in Ruskin Park, in particular Julie and all the other volunteers, and our partners It's Your Local Market.

Donate a Bench

You can now make a donation to replace a bench in Ruskin Park, and celebrate a special occasion or loved one.

We will purchase and install a new high-quality metal bench when you make a donation of £850 or more. Click here to find out more.
Start 2019 with volunteering in the park

Our friendly volunteer groups will be continuing early in the New Year. Both groups meet at the Bandstand. Please wear comfortable, waterproof clothes. Refreshments are provided.

Litter-picking, Wednesday 2nd January 10.00 - 11.00
Help keep the park looking tidy and litter-free. Also, a great opportunity to stretch your legs and meet some neighbours. More details.

Gardening, Saturday 5th January 10.00 - 12.30
Our first volunteering morning of the year will be focused on the Wildlife Garden, taking on some simple tasks with help from Lambeth's ecologist Dr Iain Boulton and hearing about plans to develop this area in 2019. You might want to wear wellies this month, but we'll find somewhere dry for volunteers who don't have any! See the Facebook event for all sessions.
