A Special Christmas Sermon Series
Bro. Shawn will be bringing several sermons on The Incarnation during the month of December. Catch up on missed sermons on our website by clicking the picture above.
Christmas Eve (Squared)
On Sunday evening, December 23 at 5:00 pm, we'll be having a "living room" Christmas celebration. Bring your family and friends! Wear an ugly Christmas sweater! Bring some cookies and hot chocolate packets and we'll celebrate the birth of our Savior together!
Parent's e-Class
Watch each week as Bro. Joshua gives us some insight on our Children's Sunday School lessons. Our desire is to help parents talk to their kids about The Gospel Project lesson from the previous week's Sunday School class. You can join in the conversation and watch each week's video at www.facebook.com/wilmontplace/videos.
Attention Deacons!
We have extra bulletins each week that would be great to share with shut-ins as you make your visits. We will keep up-to-date Bulletins in the Deacons box (green metal boxes in the hallway by the SS boxes).
Baptist Mission Center Food Pantry
Correction! Wilmont's month to help is January (not December, which was reported in last week's newsletter). Items that are needed are: non-perishable foods, especially canned meats, canned fruits, and crackers. The BMC is also in need of clothing for all ages, including hats, scarves, and gloves. Our Missions Committee will have tubs in the breezeway to collect items during the month of January.
Widows of Wilmont
Beginning January 5, 2019, the Widows of Wilmont will change their meeting time to Saturdays at 3:00 pm. If you are a widow, you're invited to join in the Bible study, ministry, and fun of our WOW group!
Thank You
Sorry for the delay in getting this to you all, but we want to thank you so much for the calls, texts, visits, gifts, and prayers for Kenzie before, during, and after her appendix removal. It means more than you know and is great to have people who genuinely care. Love, Gary and Sherri Hilburn
Dearest Friends, I can't begin to tell you how thankful I am for your generosity and love. Jim loved his church family and he loved the Lord. Love in Christ, Michele Brown
Thank you so much for allowing us to have our Arnold Christmas gathering in the fellowship hall and gymnasium December 15th. We enjoyed, and the children especially had a great time, being able to run and play in the gym. We tried to leave it clean and back to order before going home. It is a wonderful facility and I like being home with my family there. Thank you again, The Frances Arnold Family
