"In the sense of non-representation, the materials here carry the weight of the idea. The tar wax and metal paint are totally involved in the resolution of the painting, suggesting a democratic order of all form explicitly described in matter."
Eleanor will be giving an artists Q&A session where she invites you to discuss “Does art have to mean anything?”. The talk is free of charge and open to everyone.

Deadline for entries 25 February
The Guild is open to artists and craftspeople of all types. The first round of application will seek to find the foundation members of the Black Swan Guild.
Crowdfunding appeal
We have extended the deadline for donations to 30 January. Funds raised will go towards; exhibitions costs, marketing, building management & software.

Deadline for entries 22 February
Our hugely popular and wonderfully diverse annual competition gives us a preview of the next generation of artists. It also provides an exciting opportunity for younger artists to experience exhibiting in a gallery.
Entries are welcomed in all mediums and materials and artists are selected from 3 age categories:
- 8yrs – 11yrs
- 12yrs – 15yrs
- 16yrs – 19yrs
