Dear colleagues,
I hope you will enjoy reading the latest news from ENQA as well as from our partners and Members.
This issue of the Newsletter includes summaries of the decisions taken during ENQA’s General Assembly and Board meeting in October and updates on some of ENQA’s activities noted in the 2019 work plan. It also features several publications on variety of topics including learning analytics, learning and teaching, recognition of non-formally and informally acquired competences, migration and education as well as entrepreneurship and innovation in higher education.
Agencies interested in the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) Recognition Status may find it opportune to read about NVAO’s experience as the first QA agency in Europe to receive this status. We also received a request from our Croatian Member, ASHE, to disseminate their call for expert panel members.
I would like to remind our Members and Affiliates that the next ENQA Members’ Forum will take place in Tallinn, Estonia, hosted by the Estonian Quality Agency for Higher and Vocational Education (EKKA). The registration for the event will open in January, but I kindly already ask you to the save the dates – 25 and 26 April 2019 – in your calendars.
Finally, I take this communication as an opportunity to offer my sincere thanks to ENQA’s Members, Affiliates, partners and collaborators for their support and active participation during the year.
Best wishes for a joyful holiday season!
Sincerely,

Christoph Grolimund
President of ENQA
