A Christmas note from Miss Elaine
Hello to all the parents of all the students currently attending my English classes.
Where has the time gone? Well, as they say time flies when you are having fun and It has certainly been fun in the classroom lately between Sinterklaas and Christmas. These are both lovely themes and I couldn’t imagine a nicer way to introduce the words to your children for the different toys in the English language. This has been their favourite subject so far.
Up until now we have also practiced the words for the body parts, colours, numbers, days of the week, autumn, toys, clothes and prepositions.
It still amazes me at just how fast the children are progressing.
Group 2 and 3 can easily follow the instructions in English to color in a colouring picture which they love doing. Our last colouring worksheet was to colour in different pieces of clothing.
The children in Group 4 are really doing their utmost in speaking in the English language to me. As I have said before this progress is fantastic and I am very proud of the children.
This gives me great encouragement and I am really looking forward to the new year with lots of new ideas and enthusiasm
I wish all my students, their parents and of course all my colleagues and directors a very Merry Christmas and a healthy and happy 2019
With warmest regards,
Miss Elaine
