This Week in Podcasts newsletter logo
Making podcasts skimmable since February 2018.
#42· Dec. 14,2018 · By Michael Yessis

It’s list season, so next week I’ll be sending my essential episodes of 2018 list in lieu of the regular newsletter. I’ve already got a thread of other 2018 lists going on at @WeekInPodcasts. Give it a follow, if you haven’t already.

The following week I’ll be watching “Elf” and eating cookies and stuff. The full newsletter returns Jan. 5. Happy holidays!

5 Pod Takes

  • Exhibit 1,357: Nicks just got inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

5) “We ever been to the moon?”

“No.”

“They gonna come get us. I don’t think so either.”

Listen: Winging It: Stephen Curry and Andre Iguodala on A.I. Stories, Vince and Dell, and Baze’s Golf Simulator (46:45)

  • Say it ain’t so, Steph! That’s the best-shooter-in-basketball’s take on the moon landing.

  • Curry walked back his comments IRL, saying he was joking.

  • NASA’s response: Come see some moon rocks, Steph.
