Heading into 2019 seems like a good time to pause to review the amazing year we’re wrapping up and to consider what is required to meet our upcoming challenges.

We must strive for self-awareness, and the capacity to learn. We must strive for vision, and must keep honing our skills to enable us to perfect our project executions. We must strive to maintain our passion for our work because that’s what fuels our talent. We must strive to tighten our workflows. We must strive for a better sense of humor. We must strive to nurture our interpersonal connectivity.

And, we wish all our friends, family, clients and associates a JOYOUS, HEALTHY, PROSPEROUS AND INTELLECTUALLY SATISFYING 2019!

Continuing his quest to take on new challenges, John Storyk, WSDG Founding Partner, has just been elected Chairman of the Board of Walkway Over The Hudson, an historic NY State Park and recreation destination stretching across the Hudson River to connect the City of Poughkeepsie and (WSDG’s home ground) Highland, NY. Check it out and become a member.

In keeping with the spirit of NAMM, we remind you to vote for Sonastério Studios, Brazil’s first WSDG “destination” recording studio our entry in the 2019 34th Annual NAMM TEC AWARD in the Creative Studio Design category.

As winter arrives we look forward to beginning 2019 at Winter NAMM with a special "Latin America Sees Growth In New Studio Design And in Pro Audio Education" a special presentation by WSDG partner Sergio Molho. Thursday, January 24 at 4:00 pm at the Anaheim Hilton Hotel.

We look forward to the completion (and the inauguration) of many exciting projects. 2018 was a banner year for WSDG, with assignments ranging from a major new teaching complex for Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute - RPI in Troy, New York, USA to the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music - ZJCM in Hangzhou, China. There are many other surprises in the works, and we promise to keep you informed about them.
