I've been thinking about the simple encouragement I've offered others most frequently the past few months.
It's shown up in some form during conversations with coaching clients who are working to create healthier habits. It's come up as I've talked with photo organizing clients who are up to their ears in photos and memorabilia.
I've said it to the students who've been learning how to become coaches and to friends making important decisions.
And I've said it to myself!
So today, as you're perhaps:
* busying yourself with holiday preparations,
* wrestling with an important decision,
* struggling in a relationship,
* feeling guilty for not taking better care of yourself lately,
* looking forward to getting on the "right track" with habits in January,
and/or simply,
* trying to juggle it all, whatever your all is,
Let me offer you a simple encouragement.
Trust yourself.
Really.
Allow yourself to get quiet for a moment, perhaps taking a few deep breaths and asking a question or two.
What do you know about yourself? How has life prepared you to this point? What are your own deepest values, and when have you acted on them in the past? How can you draw on your strengths and use this information today?
Trust yourself. Then start where you are. Take the next step.
Believing in you,
Amy
