December News

Just like that 2018 is over!!!  What a fabulous year we've had. We've laughed, we've cried, we've solidified friendships, we've made new friends, we've accomplished goals, we've shared stories, we've held each other up, we've partied and we've hugged it out.  Basically our fitness sessions have extended beyond the physical, with so many other benefits.  I hope it has been a year to remember and I'm honoured to have been a part of so much of your lives.

Our client of the month is the gorgeous Mariella.  A woman who radiates so much warmth that we all just want to hug her every week! We tried out a question and answer format this month.  We really get to know Mariella through these questions.

This edition will hit your in boxes early so that you too can prepare for our holidays.  Our holiday dates are below.

Just a little reminder that our next Challenge is in FEBRUARY - get ready, it's going to be a fun month!!! (and won''t we need it by then?!)

Client of the month - Mariella


How long have you been training with us?
I have been training with Manal for most of this year but it feels like it's been years. Manal makes you feel like family and she encourages you to try even when you think you can't and before you know it, you can do it. All this with a smile and a laugh.  Nothing seems to faze her. You feel that she cares about you, the person individually. I love going back because it is always enjoyable to catch up with a fun group and exercise by the way.

What do you enjoy about training? 
I enjoy the  high that comes after the training, the camaraderie, the you can do it" smile, the  "let's modify" encouragement!  Recently we exercised to Christmas songs. Manal makes it fun to train your butt off. I've made wonderful new friends, enjoyed great social evenings and a fabulous Christmas party. Manal encourages us to push ourselves outside our comfort zone as really that's the only way we can continue to grow in both mind and body.  I am very grateful that she does that!

What exercises do you like / hate?
I hate burpees but I am now comfortable with sit ups which I could never do before Manal . I also like planks and mountain climbers. I enjoy the regular monthly challenges when Manal sets us 30 days of gradually increasing exercises. It's such a high when you can complete the challenge but even if you don't you know you're fitter and feel more in control for the effort. I'm also more generally aware of my health and lifestyle choices.On top of that there are great recipes shared and words of encouragement all round.  It's a great team!!

Has it changed your body / mind / life and how?
Fitness has changed me in many ways. My body feels stronger, firmer and tighter; my mind feels clearer and more positive and I generally feel more energetic especially after a session. I always thought about joining a fitness group but thought I was too busy but now I've realised that you're never to busy to do something that is so good for you!! When I made the time I realised how much better it is working with lovely and like minded individuals who encourage you rather than struggling on your own. I've learnt you're never too old to start training. 
 
What are you planning for your fitness next year? 
Next year I hope to challenge myself by pushing myself harder and improving on number of exercises and difficulty. I may even try a mini mini marathon next year .

I'm constantly snapping away at training and some people prefer not to be photographed. So the following photos taken this year are just a snapshot of all the awesome people I see daily xx   

 
              
                   

  
End of year break

Our last session of the year will fall on
FRIDAY 21st DECEMBER. 

Sessions will resume WEDNESDAY 2nd January 2019.


We will have another 5 day short break at the end of
January from 21 - 25 JANUARY.
