Dear <<Name>>

With Christmas, New Year and the Australian summer holidays almost upon us, we would like to take this opportunity to wish all Grainger Museum followers seasons greetings and a safe and happy entry into 2019.

We recently had a visit from Christopher, who shared with us his personal connection with our exhibition Objects of Fame: Nellie Melba & Percy Grainger. Read on for a full account of this month's Visitor Profile.

If you haven't yet heard the exciting news, our current exhibition Objects of Fame has been extended. Now open until the 31 March 2019, you have an extra six weeks to experience the glitz and glamour that is Objects of Fame.

Alongside this exhibition extension announcement, we are happy to share with you the release of an exhibition video to accompany the physical and textual content of Objects of Fame. Read on for more information.

Our first public program for 2019 has now been announced. Famousness is a kid-friendly, kid-focused workshop, lead by talented comic book communicator Bernard Caleo. Bernard will guide the budding artists through the steps needed to create their very own comic or poster. For more information and how to book, please see the event page

The Grainger Museum is now closed for the Christmas and New Year break. However, we will be open again at 12pm on Wednesday 2 January, 2019. We also have our usual hours of 12-4pm, Sunday to Friday, throughout the summer months.

Until then,

Warm Regards,
Grainger Museum
