In 2018, Victorian Tumour Summits (VTS) held a repeat summit for colorectal cancer and activated the head and neck cancers tumour stream. The latter was our largest summit to date, with 101 participants. For those working in lung cancer care, we look forward to seeing you at the Lung Cancer 2019 Summit on Friday 22 February. Registration information is available at the end of this newsletter.

Many wonderful clinicians, professionals and consumers have volunteered this year to put their experiences of providing and receiving care into words. Their newsletter articles have enriched our communications and we are excited to continue bringing you the personal perspectives of summit participants. Some clinicians will have received hard copies of our Christmas newsletter; please help spread the word about summits by sharing these copies with your colleagues at the multidisciplinary team meetings you attend.

Registration is open for the Lung Cancer 2019 Summit

The Lung Cancer 2019 Summit will be held at RACV City Club, Melbourne. This summit is an opportunity to review data on patterns of care for lung cancer in Victoria, and if there has been a shift towards optimal care in the areas highlighted at the first summit in 2014. Register here
