All the staff at Fox would like to wish parents and carers a safe and happy holidays. It has been an extremely long term, but a hugely enjoyable one. Thank you to all parents and carers for your continued support. We look forward to seeing you all on January 8th.
Phase A/B Christmas Show
A big well done to all of the children and staff in Phase A / B for putting on two fantastic Christmas shows this week. DVDs will be available in the New Year.
Moving forward, we are going to rethink productions. This will include: which year groups perform together, how the children are staged, how we film and share productions, parents use of phones in shows and timings of shows. Each of these will all be aimed at improving arrangements for both parents and the school. If you have any suggestions on any of the above, please email Mr Cotter.
Fox Staff Panto
A massive well done to all the staff who performed in today's staff panto. We had some great performances from Snow White, the Wicked Queen, the Mirror and the Hunts-thing and his side kick. The children absolutely loved the show.
Fox Play/Breakfast club arrangements from January 2019
In light of the demand for more Fox Play/breakfast club places and to accommodate inconsistent bookings, we have decided to increase the numbers of places we offer. Starting from next term, we will make Fox Play/breakfast club more flexible by employing additional members of staff which will allow us to offer more spaces. Fox Play spaces will increase from 35 to 50 on Mondays to Thursdays and 55 to 70 on Fridays . Breakfast club will increase from 30 to 40 everyday. In order to do this, we need to cover our extra staffing costs and therefore will be increasing the prices of sessions.

Update on the Fox and Pounds Lottery - Bonus Prizes
We have 71 staff and parents signed up to the Fox Lottery. We would like to hit 100 before it closes on Thursday 10th January.
In addtiion to the advertised prizes, we will be periodically offering bonus prizes to parents. These will include :
Front row seats to a child's production of your choice;
Front row seats at this years talent show;
Two tickets to have lunch with your children on a day of your choice;
Accompanying your child on a school trip of your choice.
Bonus prizes will be announced in advance in Friday's newsletter.

Norovirus and Influenza information
As you are aware, it is now the season for norovirus and influenza. Please click to read the covering letter and the newsletter and which has been prepared for parents and carers. Information on what influenza is, who should have the flu vaccine including the vaccination programme for children and norovirus infection has been included to help reduce the risk of spread of infection within a school/nursery environment.
