SAVE THE DATE: Wednesday 23rd January at Pavilion Gardens

Having secured the long-term contract to operate Buxton Pavilion Gardens in partnership with High Peak Borough Council, Parkwood Leisure are now working hard to turn their vision for "Best of Buxton" into reality.

Parkwood Leisure wish to work with local producers of Buxton, High Peak and the wider Peak District to deliver the vision and wish to engage with all interested producers, growers, farmers and manufacturers that have something you wish to sell.

There are a number of different opportunities from concession stalls to supply contracts - based upon  the size of your business and the nature of your product.

On Wednesday 23rd January, Parkwood Leisure will present their vision for the future of Pavilion Gardens and outline how local producers and manufacturers can make the most of this business opportunity.

There will be two sessions available at 3.00pm and 6.30pm in Octagon Lounge, Pavilion Gardens. Booking is not required but it would help us if you could indicate which session you will be attending

Preparing for Brexit

The Government is helping businesses prepare for all eventualities - including a 'no  deal' exit and new
Guidance has been published to support businesses to prepare for changes at the UK border on 'day one' should we leave the EU without a deal in March next year.

The pack provides key stakeholders and intermediaries working with businesses with a high-level guide to the customs processes and procedures that are likely to apply.

The Government states that publication of this pack does not reflect an increased likelihood of 'no deal' - it is about ensuring that plans are in place in the event they need to be relied on.

Have your say on the Council's budget

We're inviting businesses to give us their feedback on our four year financial plan.

The plan sets out how resources will be allocated and outlines the financial pressures the Council is likely to experience alongside our plans to mitigate these pressures.

Read the plan and email your views.
