FURTHER REMINDER TO SAVE THE DATE – NPW CONFERENCE 2019

Our next annual Conference is to be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Trinity Street, Chester on Tuesday 26 February 2019. Presentations will be made by Janette McCormick, Chief Constable - Cheshire Police, Elizabeth France – Chair, Security Industry Authority and Ian Payne MBE - Chair - Stonegate Pub Company.  Four breakout sessions will be held on this occasion - Legal Issue and Updates, The SIA – Violence and Public Protection, Pubwatch working with BIDs and Partners and Counter Terrorism in the Nighttime Economy.  Our on-line booking for this event is now open at http://www.nationalpubwatch.org.uk/booking/ 

JEREMY ALLEN AWARD 2018 WINNER ANNOUNCED – NATIONAL PUBWATCH CHAIRMAN STEVE BAKER

We are delighted to announce Stephen Baker as winner of the 2018 Jeremy Allen Award.  Stephen was presented with the award on the evening of 15th November 2018 during the Institutes’s National Training Conference Gala Dinner.  He is the Chair of National Pubwatch, a position he has held since 2007 and does this on a voluntary basis, juggling his day job with Thames Valley Police...(read more here)

NATIONAL PUBWATCH RESOURCES

Does your Pubwatch make full use of the resources available from National Pubwatch?  We know how difficult it can be to source good practice advice or fund local initiatives; so everything we do is aimed at supporting your work. And as NPW is a voluntary organisation we think it’s important that we do not charge you for receiving that support. For example, did you know that you can download and print a range of posters directly from our website or that we can supply small quantities of hard copy posters – all free of charge?...(read more here)  

NEW SOUTH RIBBLE PUBWATCH ELECTS CHAIR AND VICE-CHAIR

A brand new Pubwatch has been established in South Ribble to ensure the safety and wellbeing of licensed premises, pub-goers, and their local communities.  Around 30 licensees gathered for the inaugural meeting of the South Ribble Pubwatch – attended by the council’s Head of Licensing, officers from South Ribble Police, and Dave Daly from National Pubwatch...(read more here)
