Wednesday, December 26  Church is Closed

New Sound System
Coming in 2019 LOTM will have a new sound system integrated with a hearing loop system(T-coil)
ALL attending LOTM services will REALLY hear!
As with any home improvement project, additional needs appear.  So the sanctuary will receive new carpeting since the T-coils are placed under the carpet.
Finally, LOTM will be moving into the modern sound technology era. In the Narthex is more information for hearing aid users as well as the more detailed letter that was sent out electronically last week.
Deepest gratitude to our two donors who are covering the cost of the sound system.  The carpet and installation will come from LOTM building reserve fund. If you would like to donate to the Sound System/Carpet Project, you may leave your contribution in the offering plate or mail it to the church. Please note the project on the memo line of your check.

2019 Financial Giving Campaign

Congratulations LOTM members and friends! We have 88 pledges totaling $308,240! Council is now reviewing a revised goal of $320,000. We would like to receive 12 more pledges, including ones of $120 per year to  $35,000! (Just kidding!) The reality is, that to do the things at LOTM that people said was important, we need $18,000 more. Blessings to all that have participated in this campaign and have supported LOTM with their volunteer and financial gifts. Merry Christmas.

Pastor and Staff Christmas Gifts
Christmas is a time to show our appreciation to our staff (Pastor, Darlene, Liz, Chris, Rita and Jessica). To show your appreciation please place your gift in the Christmas box in the Narthex.  Checks should include a memo line indicating "staff gift".

The Card Ministry Committee is in need of new members. This quiet ministry sends condolence, get well, sympathy and special congratulations to LOTM members and friends.  Each member serves one month a year.  Note cards, postage stamps and guidelines are kept in the Volunteer Room. Recipient names come from the prayer chain list or the Sunday bulletin list.  Please let Doris Koneman know if you are ready to release your inner poet.  dknoeman@comcast.net or 970-453-2685.
