This better be worth it!

Most of us have said this before we head outside for an adventure with iffy weather in the forecast. That's what teacher Sarah Compton, from Chicago said, during the Forest Preserve of Cook County's Camping training, in the slushy snow and frigid temps one spring a few years back.

But after the trip was over, there was no question. It was beyond worth meeting the challenge, because the young adults she teaches, and takes outdoors experience something new, OUTDOORS, in community with each other.
