Services on December 23, 24th, and 25th will be crowded. Early birds, consider parking in the upper lot or along the west side of the kitchen lane. Leadership, kitchen crew, and musicians may park outside the kitchen or along the west side of the kitchen lane (the ground on the east side will be too soft). You may also park at Sage.

It's not too late to pledge your financial support to Grace for the coming year. Grace ministries and programs are funded entirely by the People of Grace, people like you and me, seeking to do God's work in the world. We're closing in on meeting our goal for 2019, but we need your help! As you make your year-end donations, please remember Grace, and help our church continue deepening our roots and spreading our branches.
Save the date for these Youth Group gatherings in January, with more information coming soon to the youth email list.

OUTREACH
Giving & Serving this Season
Giving Tree Thanks to all who so generously contributed to the Giving Tree, put up in partnership with La Iglesia de la Resurrección in Mount Vernon. As you see, the rain stopped on Wednesday just long enough to load our special delivery, on its way to our friends in Mount Vernon. (There’s barely space for our intrepid driver!)
KIAC & Streets of Seattle Drives Thanks to everyone who donated coats, gloves, scarves, hats, and other warm things to our KIAC and Streets of Seattle outerwear and "warm things" drives. The items were sorted and delivered with care and appreciation! Beginning in January, our donation emphasis will be on personal care items. Stay tuned for details.
December 28 | 3 pm
Super Suppers at Eagle Harbor Congregational Church We will prepare, set up, and serve starting at 3 pm at Eagle Harbor Congregational Church. Learn more on our Super Suppers blog page. After our guests depart, we'll stay for a bit, share a meal, with each other, and talk about our hopes, dreams, and adventures for 2019!
January 13 | 11:30 am
Community Conversation about Grace Outreach Outreach is a core component of Grace Church. We seek to revitalize and reframe Grace's Outreach programs in 2019, beginning with a community conversation with our parishioners. Please join Patty Robinson, Chuck Bombardier, and Wren Blessing on Sunday, January 13 after church for a short presentation and discussion about what outreach will look like in the coming years. All are welcome.

PARISH LIFE
Grace "Helpers" in Action: CPR/AED Training
January 9 | 5 pm As Mr. Rogers' mother told him when he was growing up, "Look for the helpers; there are always helpers." If you're interested in being a helper who assists someone in need, you might be interested in our upcoming CPR/AED training, taking place at 5 pm Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Grace. Cost: $20/person (scholarships are available). Register with Diane, office@gracehere.org.
Please help us pay our December expenses by fulfilling your 2018 pledge by the end of the year. For tax purposes we must receive your payment by December 31 although we do not close the books on 2018 until January 31 (payments made in January will be credited to your 2018 pledge).
If you are transferring stock, please email or call the office and ask for the instructions sheet. If your institution is transferring a payment directly, please let me know since they often do not include the donor’s name.
In January you will get a statement from Grace detailing all payments made to Grace in 2018.
If you have any questions, please ask: Deborah Schenk, deborah.schenk@nyu.edu. Thank you!
