At MetaPhase, we’ve been humbled and encouraged by the opportunities afforded this year. We welcomed 20 new staff and initiated contracts in three new federal markets (Department of Homeland Security, Department of Commerce and Office of Personnel Management) while expanding support for a number of our existing clients. We’ve significantly expanded our capabilities and experience in the areas of Software Development, Data Science and Business Intelligence.
Another significant development has been to expand our corporate infrastructure with the hiring of a deeply experienced COO, Mike Innella, and Business Operations Manager, Shannon Byrne Custer. They’re helping to scale up functions like accounting and recruiting while standardizing our processes to ensure a deeper level of consistency across all of the programs we support.

Introducing MetaPhase’s New Chief Operating Officer (COO): Mike Innella
 MetaPhase was fortunate enough to bring Mike Innella onboard as our Chief Operating Officer (COO) in 2018. Mike is a 30-year industry veteran who previously served as an advisor to MetaPhase for over a year before joining the company. We will benefit from Mike’s experience and accomplishments from previous leadership positions at CGI Federal (formerly Stanley Associates), American Systems, and Buchanan and Edwards (BE). In addition, Mike’s values regarding thoughtful customer service are what we’re all about at MetaPhase.

Fiscal Year 2018 New Programs
Expanding Our Services
2018 turned out to be a great year for MetaPhase. We grew organically within existing client-agencies such as the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). And we continued to support work at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
In addition to this continued support, we were awarded seven new prime contracts across the U.S. Department of State, USAID, the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA), the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security/U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (DHS/USCIS).
