You are invited to join us for the 2019 LSC Family Picnic Day!
Our newly revived event will be fondly remebered by many members and we are excited to be re-launching this fun, family day in 2019.
Please indicate if you can join us or not on the Facebook listing (CLICK HERE) so we can ensure we have enough space for you all! (If you don't use facebook please send an email to us instead if you intend to join us and how many will be in your group)
We will leave LSC at 9.30 to a nice sheltered beach down the river. You need to bring the same stuff you would to a day at the beach (Your lunch, swimwear, towels, drinks, hat and sunscreen etc).
The club will supply the transport in members and friends keelboats and cruisers. We will take some water toys for the day (bring your own if you have a favourite!!) - beach cricket and other games welcome too!
Depending on the weather (fingers crossed) we will return to LSC around 5.00. If the weather is not suitable, we will notify by email and here on the event page.
The purpose of the day is to introduce people to other aspects of boating and the joy that can be had by just messing about in boats. Please make an effort to support the picnic - All members old and new, young and not so young are encouraged to come. Let create some lasting memories!
