Submit Your Tropical Bird Photos Today!

There are two days left to submit your photos to the BirdsEye Tropical Bird Photography Contest. The contest is designed to bolster our tropical bird collection and highlight the birders and photographers doing fantastic work in the tropics. Enter today—for free—to win a one-year BirdsEye World Membership and additional prizes for the top images.

We are looking for photos of tropical birds depicted accurately in their environment. Judges are looking for clean, unobstructed photos of birds in a tropical environment. Extra consideration will be given to pictures of rarer birds, or photos depicting unique bird behaviors.

Photos should be submitted as .JPGs and should be under 5 MB in size. We prefer to receive pictures that are 576 x 720 pixels or larger. All submitters must agree to the BirdsEye’s Terms of Service.

All photos will require location information to verify they were taken in a tropical region. To be considered for the photo contest, all submissions must include the hashtag #photocontest2018 in the caption section of the submission page. Following the #photocontest2018, please include a short description of the bird.
