Happy New Year!
Do you ever go into a room, or go upstairs, and think ‘what have I come here for?’! Or maybe you’re in a job, or living in a place, or just wondering about life, and thinking ‘what am I here for?’
At the start of a new year maybe it’s a time when we particularly think such things. Of course, the start of a new calendar year is an artificial marker, but it can be a useful time to take stock, and think about how we’d like to grow into the future – how we’d like things to look different in a year’s time. So, what about us as individuals, as CCC, as part of the community which is Catford and elsewhere?
This Sunday is our first morning of 2019 at the Calabash, and we'll be looking at a reason that Jesus gave for why he came - to bring abundant life! What does that mean for us in 2019 - for your individual life, and for our life together as people of God?
Come ready for 10.30 on Sunday to spend time with God and each other as we share communion together and look ahead to 2019 - my hope is that we can get hold of something new from the heart of God - what's yours?!
