100 Acts of Kindness: 2019 Edition

100 Acts of Kindness
100 Acts of Kindness 2019
100 Acts of Kindness is back and its taking things to new height. Week 1 we connected with three of the amazing minds behind the Build Love project, visited with the friendly staff China Liangs on YQR’s east side, cracked some smiles with Cornwall Center Security, and surprised a handful of unsuspecting residences of our fine city. Regina, you rock, and this year we are going to show you!

Week 2
Dear Teachers: Thank you for early mornings and lifetimes of service in the Regina community! Volunteers: You keep us all afloat and inspire us to reach for greatness! Stellar Coffee Shops: You recharge, energize, and bring us all together!

Week 3
We walk among giants everyday! They are behind the scenes working tirelessly to offer the best customer service. They are the shopping personnel we see every week and are always there to rock a smile and lift us up. They shape our future and make us feel beautiful inside and out!

Week 4
When temperatures dip well below freezing the winter warriors are always out there making sure we can stay safe, warm, and cozy! This week we received a call from the City of Regina that we just had to answer! The folks at Mâmawêyatitân Centre build and develop safe inclusive communities every day. It is an electric hub full of smiles and excitement and definitely worth an act of kindness! Thank you everyone for keeping smiles on faces and feeling in our toes!
100 Acts of Kindness 2019
Week 5
Last Year Mark Johnston was nominated for 1 of the 100 Acts of Kindness. This year he wanted to help pay it back! Week 5 Strategy Lab Marketing, the 100 Acts of Kindness Street Team, and The Happy Mother Huggers (Eddy Alvaro and Mark Johnston) were everywhere delivering hugs and high fives to more of YQR's finest!

Meet our newest Travel Trainer Team Member:
Jordan Wyonzek

The role I am undertaking for my university practicum is the Lead Travel Trainer. My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment and assist in empowering those we train on the bus. Independence in all aspects of life is so important, which is why I strive to help people achieve that outcome. I have a passion for sports and getting active whenever possible in my free time and believe this is a powerful way to build confidence in one’s own abilities. Sometimes people take different routes to reach a certain outcome, but it’s up to them to find which way suits them best.
