With so many things going on in and around Downtown Knoxville, South Knoxville, and Happy Holler, it can be hard to decide what to do, so we here at Marble Alley Development have chosen to showcase some of the most interesting events for you. Enjoy!

Eat: South Knoxville to Get It’s Own Food Truck Park.

David Yousif and James Tourville  have leased the former mechanic garage at 1014 Sevier Ave. to open Hard Knox Garage in March.

Because there's an indoor component, Hard Knox will be open year-round. There will be a bar inside with seating, a stage for live music and bathrooms. Four garage doors will open out to Sevier Avenue, where three or four food trucks will park at any time.

Listen: Nile Rodgers & CHIC Wednesday, 7:30 PM at The Tennessee Theatre

There can be little argument that CHIC was disco's greatest band; and, working in a heavily producer-dominated field, they were most definitely a band. By the time CHIC appeared in the late '70s, disco was already slipping into the excess that eventually caused its downfall. CHIC bucked the trend by stripping disco's sound down to its basic elements; their funky, stylish grooves had an organic sense of interplay that was missing from many of their overproduced competitors. Don’t miss a chance to see one of the legends of music at this amazing performance venue. Ticket information here.

Mystery Link: Expect The Unexpected!

I felt so guilty after I stepped on a spider this morning. You should of seen him, he looked genuinely crushed. HAHAHA! Get it? Crushed! Seriously, we all have some fear of creepy crawlies be it snakes, spiders, flying insects or worms. An Australian man recently had an encounter that left him…the opposite of speechless. Looking For Downtown Parking?

Downtown has free parking on nights and weekends, but with the expansion project at the State Street Garage, finding parking can be confusing. Keep up-to-date with the city of Knoxville parking blog by clicking here.

Also,
There's now an app that can help you strategically pick your parking garage destination, before you even start your car and pull out of the driveway.

Parkopedia.com offers a free phone app that reports data from sensors at the entrances to City-owned downtown garages. So you can see, in real-time, how many parking spaces are available at each garage.

Visit Parkopedia.com to get the app. Enter Knoxville when prompted to enter a city or place.
