For the end of the year I thought it would be fitting to thank some very helpful behind the scene people at The Refuge.
Pete has been the behind the scenes guy for all things related to computers, technology, network, security and check in, and more. His help has be so valuable. Thanks for all you do to serve at The Refuge.
Sharon is that other person that gets very little attention for an important job. Sharon and Ernie regularly show up at The Refuge to clean up the millions of messes kids make (some staff too!). The keep the building from being run down and keep the supplies stocked. Without the work of people cleaning The Refuge would not be able to minister to youth.
We have a volunteer for the wood shop. This is a huge praise! The plan now is to finish the setup for the wood shop in January and then start classes later in February.
We are in need of two key items for the wood shop. One is a roller table to help with the safety of using the table saw. We are looking for something that is 24" wide and about 5 feet long. The other item is a joiner.
Would you pray about The Refuge getting a van to transport kids? The van would be used to transport kids to church on Sundays and take kids to events and special trips.
We are also looking forward to getting the Mentor project rolling in early 2019.
