Joe's quick wit and practical sense of right and wrong made him a fast friend of many. Joe was a master conversationalist and could use his sense of humor to enhance or diffuse any situation. Joe had close connections to a great number of people through his various interests. Nascar, college and pro football, Gunsmithing, marksmanship, music, auto restoration, boating, camping and craft beer brewing just to name a few. As a result, he leaves behind a multitude of relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

Joe was devoted and loving husband. He and Lynne had many exciting adventures before and after all the girls came along. He was a terrific father to the girls, teaching them many activities such as shooting, car repair and fire-starting while allowing them to be girls. Joe always stressed the value of integrity, honesty and hard work. He was a man of strong faith and deep convictions. His many relationships with friends and family were valued above all else. Joe was very generous with his time and talents, always making time to help others in their time of need.
