Winter Special Reminder

Just a reminder our tune-ups go on special during the months of January and February.
Discounted rates are as follows:

Basic Tune-up: $50
Full Tune up including drivetrain cleaning: $75
Complete Overhaul: $125

NOTE: Tune-up rates include labor only. Any parts needed will be an additional charge.

New Youth Mountain Bike Team

Attention Rowan County middle and high school students!

We have established Rowan County’s FIRST EVER interscholastic youth mountain bike team for the NICA (National Interscholastic Cycling Association) league. We are currently looking for athletes (Boys and Girls) grades 6-12. Space IS limited and first come first serve!

NICA is not a performance focused organization. So there is no reason to feel intimidated. NICA puts all its emphasis on safety, fairness and fun. The training season runs from December through February and there are five races held April-May. Practices and races are encouraged but ALL are optional and completely up to the discretion of the athlete and/or their guardians.

There are some equipment requirements. If you have an athlete who is passionate about participating but any or all of these requirements are financially unattainable, please contact us ASAP and we will do everything within our ability to see that your youth is able to participate

Minimum equipment requirements:

Team registration (contact one of the coaches listed)
Mountain bike of decent quality (safe to ride)
Bike helmet compliant with CPSC safety standards
Transportation to and from practices and events
Proper nutrition and hydration (water bottles and food items)
