Your Story Can Shine Light & Life In The Darkness

Instead of reading a newsletter, why not watch this update on YouTube?

Dear Friends,

We at More Than Walking are so thankful for all the peer mentors we have worked with this past year to share their stories on film. They have volunteered their time to speak light and life into some of the darkest experiences they have known, believing what they have learned can help someone else get back to life. You don’t need to be living with paralysis to need to hear that kind of wisdom. If you haven’t yet had a chance, listen to their stories here.

Earlier this week we received a message from a man in India who had, by watching our channel, decided to take his first steps in becoming more independent after almost 16 years. Through our demonstration videos and connections to other Indian mentors, we are able to share with him the skills he never learned in the hospital. There are millions others like him around the world, and you can help us reach them with encouragement and hope.

We are excited about the future holds! Our YouTube channel will have published 50 mentor videos by New Years, been viewed 84,250 times, and have over 725 individual subscribers. We hope to triple our impact by the end of 2019, and here are some ways you can join your story to ours:

1. Follow and share the resources we make on social media with others.

Subscribe & Share
2. Participate in an interview and demonstration videos if you live with paralysis.
