2019 promises to be a banner year of UnderMain! In furtherance of our goal to produce insightful writing about local and regional art and artists, UnderMain has been awarded a grant by the Great Meadows Foundation to produce in-depth essay profiles of the work of twelve Kentucky artists and to continue our work of reviewing exhibitions.

As a companion to the written work and supported by Great Meadows, UnderMain will present in March Critical Mass III at The Carnegie in Covington, Kentucky, the latest in our series of conversations about contemporary art, artists, and art writing. Watch for more upcoming details about the date for this event and the participants in, what promises to be, a lively conversation! You can watch the video of Critical Mass II which took place this past March.

Look for more exciting news about UnderMain in the near future. And don't forget that UnderMain is a 501 (c)(3) and you can donate to our efforts to keep you informed about arts and culture in Lexington and the region. Donation links on every page at under-main.com. See you in 2019!
