No Evil News

Thanking all of you for your support in 2018!

It's been quite a year! We've photographed 2,232 more people at 34 photo shoots, and created four more exhibits and installations. We've been to corporate events, a high school and a senior center, a cathedral and a mosque, two city halls and a fire and police station, nonprofits that help a wide variety of people, and festivals focusing on everything from tattoos to gender and sexuality to race to steampunk!

We're currently challenging ageism with our permanent installation featuring seniors at the Worcester Senior Center, introducing people to the diversity of people working at Worcester City Hall, and celebrating people in Townsend at the Townsend Public Library and the people of Fitchburg in our first art museum exhibit on display at the Fitchburg Art Museum Community Gallery (learn more below!).

Our mission to challenge stereotypes and help bring people together despite their differences is needed now more than ever. That's why this year we became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Being a nonprofit allows us to grow, get grants and sponsorships to do work where we're needed, and now you can support the project with a tax deductible donation or start your own Facebook fundraiser to encourage your friends to support us.

If you believe in our mission, please spread the word and have your friends participate, volunteer for events, or get involved in general. Find out how to host the project at your company as a team building or retreat program, your college as a diversity activity or orientation program, your high school to start conversations about differences and anti-bullying, or your festival as a fun and meaningful activity. Got an idea? We're always interested in trying something new!

Thank you for being a part of this, and together in 2019, let's see what we can do!

Take care,
  Troy

No Evil Project: Fitchburg

If you haven't seen it yet, be sure to catch our exhibit running through January 27th at the Fitchburg Art Museum featuring 424 people that live, work, and play in the Fitchburg area. You can even get a home version of the exhibit.

Our opening reception was a huge success with the exhibit, photos, videos, a silent auction, and an amazing panel discussion featuring a variety of people from the Fitchburg community sharing their stories and thoughts about labels and stereotypes. If you weren't able to make it, be sure to check out the photo album and watch and share the videos below.
