Dear <<First Name>>,

Greetings from Cynthia Wood Spinner!

Happy New Year!
Have you thought about New Year's resolutions for your fiber crafts?
Some popular ones are:  Reducing the number of in progress projects.  Learning a new skill or craft.  Stash busting.  Putting the finishing steps on a garment, be it sewing the seams or attaching buttons.

I am here to help.  You can share your wip's, (works in progress) with me on social media and I will be your cheerleader.  Regular practice makes a huge difference in our abilities.  The way I have become a decent knitter and spinner is from practice.  While my crochet skill shows the irregular time I give it.  Need to learn how to _?  I have a growing number of tutorials on my website.  As for stash busting we can cheer each other along, my handspun stash is in need of projects.  For those final touches try some wood buttons.

These are in the web store for you.

Upcoming events:
Janurary 19th I will be in Richmond, VA at Clotho's Handspinners guild.  Bring your spindle(s) and any spindle project questions.  I can tune up the hooks on your spindles if needed.  Note this is the first meeting at the new location.
April 27, 2019  Powhatan's Festival of Fiber near Richmond, VA
June 7 - 8, 2019 Blue Ridge Fiber Fest in Sparta, NC  my first time at this new destination festival.
October 5 -6, 2019 Fall Fiber Festival  just outside Orange, VA
October 25 -27, 2019 Southeastern Animal Fiber Fair  in Fletcher, NC
Part of my commitment to those of you getting the newsletter is first choice at special opportunities.  There are possible prizes, from me, on Ravelry.com in the Yarn Therapy Zone group as part of their Spin Cycles.  January is a good chance to give it a try.  Please follow all the group rules and guidelines.  The general premise is to spin together and share our progress.  I enjoy the company and keeping track of my progress weekly.
Thank you all for supporting me in 2018.  I wouldn't be able to do this without you.  From interacting with my posts online so they are seen, to visiting at events, showing off your collection of my tools, and buying new ones.  It all is tremendous help.  If I can do anything to make your tool use more enjoyable please let me know.  I welcome product feedback.
Thank you for letting me turn your fiber arts tools.

I make tools to be used and enjoyed, as well as look pretty.  I would like to know if your tool has suffered damage or is giving you difficulty, I may be able to help.
