I leave you with this thought:

To direct the mind towards the basic unity of all things and to divert it from the seizing of differences -- therein lies bliss.

Community News
Common Ground is Hosting an Antiracism Study and Dialogue Circle
Common Ground hosted one of ASDIC's circles as a training for leaders a couple of years ago. We were impressed with their program and found it very useful. As such, we decided to invite them to host a public circle using our space beginning in February. The dates are 10 Mondays, Feb 11-April 15, 9:15 am-1:15 pm, at Common Ground. This is a wonderful opportunity to deepen understanding around the roots of racism and the ways it is perpetuated, as well as how we can take steps to address and heal its suffering. If you're interested, please register through ASDIC using this link.

Looking for Audio Processing Volunteer
We're looking for another volunteer to help edit and upload our talks to Dharmaseed. You don't need expertise in audio editing or advanced computer skills; we're happy to train you in. Let gabe@commongroundmeditation.org know if you're interested.

Winter is Here!!...Snowblowing Volunteers Wanted!
We could use a couple more snowblowing volunteers to take a shift or two. The way it works is you sign up for a certain shift, for example Tuesday AM, or Friday PM, and if it happens to snow that day, you're part of the team that cleans up the snow. We have a snowblower here. No special skills required; we'll train you and it can be fun! Thanks for considering serving the community in this important way. Let Rob Kohlmeyer know if you're interested: <rwkohlmeyer@yahoo.com> Thanks!

Daily Tejaniya
The whole point of meditation practice is to grow wholesome states of mind. We must not forget that the very qualities that are working to do meditation are skillful, wholesome qualities of the mind. So at the very least, these qualities are being cultivated.

All Common Ground programs are offered free of charge in the spirit of generosity. There is a donation bowl and credit card reader in the lobby or an online tool available on our website if you would like to support the center and the teachers. The center is completely dependent on your gifts. Volunteering is also a wonderful way to support the center; let us know if you are interested. For more information on the practice of generosity, programs, the current newsletter and calendar, please go to Common Ground's website.
