SI Leadership Program
Apply Now! APOST and The University of Pittsburgh School of Education are now accepting applications for the third cohort of the Simple Interactions Leadership Program (SILP)! This course will equip program site leaders with Simple Interactions developmental settings into their daily practice and overall organizational culture. We are seeking out-of-school time youth workers within Allegheny County to apply for this opportunity. Application deadline is February 1, 2019.

Difficult Histories
Join Rivers of Steel and the National Park Service in a four-part workshop presented by trainers from the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience. Learn methods in which to challenge visitor preconceptions and foster productive dialogue. The series begins with an introductory webinar on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Here, you’ll learn key methodologies used by the Sites of Conscience in their work around the world. Be prepared to share your specific challenges – this content will inform the agenda for the in-person workshops on February 4, 5 & 6. The introductory webinar is free.
