GWC meets in the Community Room at Northgate Mall usually on the first Wed--except when it conflicts with a holiday, like it does this month. We will be looking into our crystal ball to see what watershed related issues may be arising this year. Please bring your ideas and enthusiasm.

Floating Islands in Civic Center Lagoon
This EFM/GWC project continues to move forward as we are testing a new design. Do you like to build? We can use you! Do you like to plant? Ditto! Our goal is to demonstrate successful bioremediation of the lagoon's water, working in partnership with County Parks, DPW, the Frank Lloyd Wright Conservancy and Cultural Services.

Monthly Meetings
The GWC Board meets on the first Wednesday of the month in the Community Room of the Northgate Mall. Enter by the mall Food Court; turn R immediately; follow corridor to elevator; go to 2nd floor.  Meetings are from 7 - 9 pm and everyone is welcome.  We discuss matters of interest concerning our local creek and bay area watersheds. The meetings for 2019 are Jan. 9, Feb. 6, Mar. 6, Apr. 3, May 1, June 5, July 10 (second Wed), Aug. 7, Sept 4, Oct. 2, Nov. 6 and Dec. 4.
