I hope y'all had a fun and rewarding Holiday. I know I did, driving the big loop... to Sandy, UT ...to Sparks, NV. and back home to Florence.We are still partying at Heidi's place in Sparks..

Activities Committee...
 I have been thinking that the Rhody Cruisers club could use a management upgrade, and give members the opportunity get your hands dirty.
Back in the day, about when I showed up, we had an activities committee
(old story here).
I propose we restore that program once again. Sometime soon, we should setup a committee meeting. Someplace quiet. We need to consider: • Membership • Events • Social Issues • Car Show Calendar • Club Planning and government. Everyone with an interest is encouraged to attend. Your opinions and suggestions are welcome. Lets setup a time and place.

The Rhody Cruisers had a busy 2018.
We attended dozens of Car Shows, bringing Glory and Booty to our humble group. We quickly organized a Stand-Around Show for visiting guests in June. We helped with Wings & Wheels, and made a major contribution to Rods 'N Rhodies. We participated in the Rhody Days Parade, and paraded to honor our Veterans last month. Together we brought in donations of Christmas Joy for those in need. We paid our respect to those folks being cared for at Spruce Point and Shorewood Living. I am very proud of our little club, and look forward to another year of community support, good times, and good friends. One of the best things we do is to meet monthly, and toss around ideas about upcoming events. Our around-the-room discussions are fabulous. Many thanks for that go to ...Ann, and the great staff at the A&W.

In Memoriam ...
 Mike Branson Passed in December.
I will always remember Mike for his chopped "La Bomba" and terrible straw hat.
Mert Beebe passed in December. There will be a memorial in February at the Bridgewater. Who could ever forget his outrageous 55 Chevy..

 The Thursday AM Coffee Cruise is a Big Success. It is attended by many members for Coffee, muffins and cookies. Before and after coffee it turns into a Stand-Around, lookin at cars and talking. Get the latest on events and projects.
Its a nice way to start your Weekend.
