Religious school resumes this Sunday, January 6th
Our All School T'fillah service will be from 10:30-11:00 in Levy Hall this Sunday.  Families are always welcome!

Rabbi Schiff is the Foundation Scholar at the Jewish Foundation and is being made available for this program thanks to the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh.
In case of a closure or delay:

Winter weather is upon us!  In the event that weather and road conditions are deemed unsafe, J-JEP may cancel religious or Hebrew classes. 

There are four ways to check if J-JEP is closed/delayed due to the weather:
  • Check your email - An email will be sent out only if there is a cancellation or delay.
  • An announcement will be posted to the front page of JJEP.org 
  • An announcement will be posted on J-JEP's Facebook page
  • Check KDKA or WPXI Closures for Rodef Shalom/Beth Shalom Religious School.

Family Ice Skating at Schenley Ice Rink

All are welcome to celebrate winter with ice skating! Eat lunch at Rodef Shalom or meet at the skating rink! $10 per person provides lunch, skate time, and skate rental! $5 per person provides skate time and rental OR lunch and skate time!

G2 Info Session & Havdalah

Learn more about G2: Global Intergenerational Initiative at this info session and Havdalah service co-led by Rabbi Aaron Bisno and Rabbi Alex Greenbaum.

G2 is a Jewish cohort learning experience for you and your grandchild. Join with other grandparents and grandchildren* from Pittsburgh and our Partnership2Gether region, Karmiel/Misgav, for an innovative Jewish experience culminating in a trip to Israel in December 2019.

Camp Scholarships Available

Women of Rodef Shalom (WRS) scholarships for Jewish overnight camp are available to children of Congregation members. Eligible campers have attended a Jewish overnight camp at least one time. For application details, contact Sara Segel at WRScamp2019@gmail.com. The application deadline is February 19, 2019.
