With Professor Ronald Y. Nakasone, a member of the Core Doctoral Faculty at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, with over 150 scholarly works on Buddhist thought, ethics, and aesthetics.

Free Monday Tai Chi Classes
Next Class: Monday, January 21, 2019, 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Evelyn Lee will teach a free tai chi chuan class, suitable for all levels, on Mondays (except for the 2nd Monday each month). Each class will begin with stretching and basic Yang style warm up, followed by work on the Chen village style Laojia Yilu form (75 movements).  Regardless of how far you get, you will benefit from the relaxation which is the foundation of this tai chi style.

2019 ARTIST IN RESIDENCE : Bonnie Kwong
Bonnie Wai-Lee Kwong is a poet, playwright, and performer whose work traverses seen and unseen geographies.  She has lived in nine states and two continents and creates art in many languages: English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese, ruby, and JavaScript.  Her work in poetry and fiction has garnered six Pushcart nominations.  Her first book of poetry, ravel, is a finalist for prizes by White Pine Press and New Rivers Press
