Welcome Back and Happy New Year!
Concord Carlisle Human Rights Council MLK, Jr. Celebration: The Concord Carlisle Human Rights Council would like to invite the community to the 26th annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration, an important event to celebrate the life and legacy of this great leader. On Wednesday, January 16th, the community is invited to attend an evening of music and inspiration that honors the life of this extraordinary man, with performances from the Willard School Chorus, the Fenn Treble Chorus and the Boston gospel choir: Joyful Voices of Inspiration. This annual event, sponsored by the Concord Carlisle Human Rights Council, is always a special evening and a wonderful opportunity to reflect on Dr. King’s message of freedom and justice for all. The celebration begins at 7PM, at the Fenn School Auditorium, 516 Monument St. in Concord. The event is free and all are welcome. Physical Exam Request for 4th Grade Students: Dear Parents/ Guardians of Fourth Grade Students, if you have already submitted a copy of your child’s current physical examination to the health office, thank you very much. All students attending Concord Public Schools Pre-K through grade 12 must comply with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health/Massachusetts General Law (MGL c. 76, Sec. 15, and 105 CMR 220.000) immunization/physical examination requirements for entry in school. Requirements are for a current physical examination at entry and again in grade four during the elementary years. All fourth graders must have a copy of a current physical, dated after January 1, 2018 on file in the health office. Please provide this information to the school nurse as soon as possible.
