InnoVentures U:  The new Mass. Non-Compete Law:  January 2019

January 2019 InnoVentures U

You Can't Do That!
The Dos and Don'ts of the new Mass. Non-Compete Law

Thursday, January 24, 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm

Where: 100 Cummings Center, Beverly -- Suite 451C

The new non-compete law went into effect on October 1.  And that means that your existing and all new non-compete agreements are going to have to change.  The new law, which applies to both employees and independent contractors, generally bans employment-related non-compete agreements in Massachusetts unless they meet certain statutory requirements.  Whether you were for or against non-competes, they are a reality of your business, and you need to be sure that you’re in compliance.

Why YOU Should Attend:

It’s here.  You have to deal with it.
