Did you know you can donate appreciated stocks to the church for your pledges or memorial gifts?  With the new higher standard deduction, fewer people will be able to itemize their tax deductions.  Donating shares of stock directly to the church is tax advantageous.  Consult with your tax adviser then contact the church office.
