A very Happy New Year to everyone!

January reading updates

On 16th January we will be continuing the reading of the American classic 'Of Mice and Men' by John Steinbeck that we started in December. It is not necessary to have been at the first reading, as we will explain what has happened so far. So if you are free and interested please come along.

The originally scheduled reading of 'And Then There Were None' by Agatha Christie will now take place on 30th January.

Venues for both of these will be confirmed closer to the time.

Meet the Players: Uli Wilfer

An insight into the world of being and Assistant Director by Uli Wilfer. Since starting with St George's as an Assistant, she has gone on to Direct her own play and has assisted again as well.

What do you want to do?

As well as producing plays, we host readings and mini shows. Do you want to organise one?

At readings, a group of Players simply read through a play. As well as being a fun way to spend an evening, a reading helps us gauge interest in a play - we decided to produce Rope in spring 2015 following a successful reading.

Mini shows are whatever you want them to be. In the past they have featured readings from plays and novels, storytelling, impro and sketches. Some of the Players have used them to showcase their own work.
