Girls Soccer Tryouts Team A and Team B:
5th-8th Grade
Tryouts will be held as soon as we return from winter break. Please be aware that our B-Team will be playing other varsity teams. However, they will be placed in a less competitive division to ensure they are going up against teams that are more matched to their skill set.
Girls Team A (6-8th Grade) and Girls Team B (5th-8th Grade): Tryouts will be Wednesday, January 9th and Thursday, January 10th. Students report to the gym at dismissal and parents pick up at the picnic tables outside the gym at 5:00 PM. Students not picked up by 5:10 PM will be escorted to aftercare in the preschool building where charges will be incurred.
Athletes that do not make the A-Team roster will be considered for the B-Team roster.
The following THREE STEPS are required to be complete in order for your student to participate in tryouts (click on links):
FHSAA Sports Physical(not the same as a regular health check up) must be on file with the school main office (send electronically to administration@lutzprep.org or drop off a COPY at the front desk). Please DO NOT give us your original, keep for your records and give us a copy. These can be completed at your regular doctor or any walk in clinic.
Games are typically on Mon/Wed with practices opposite game days.
Games are played around the Tampa area with a starting time of 4:30 PM.
The preseason will start as soon as we return from Winter Break.
Make sure to fill out all the necessary documents including a sports physical in order to participate in tryouts.
Team fee is $130, uniforms are property of the school team and must be turned in by athlete at the end of the season.
3rd Quarter Blazing Bolts Run Club for 1st-5th Grade

Each student that signs up will receive a Blazing Bolts dri-fit t-shirt and be able to participate in the end of quarter "party" where other prizes for exemplary performances will be handed out.
