Developer Camp — World's Best Hackathon

Friday to Sunday from February 1-3, 2019

Square, Getaround, Temple Run, OAuth, TestFlight, Push IO, and Zūm — each of these have foundations at Developer Camp over the past twelve years.

This event is a combination of community support, cooperation, and an idea contest that lasts 48 hours from opening doors to closing ceremony.

Apple, Oracle, Google, Amazon, Disney, and Facebook have purchased companies that got an early start at Developer Camp. You could be next.

It is time to celebrate our inclusive, diverse, and equal-opportunity society with an event focused on foundational technologies: AI, VR/AR, and blockchain.
  • Hundreds of developers, designers, testers, and entrepreneurs
  • NEW VENUE: Draper University's Hero City in San Mateo, CA
  • 5pm to midnight Friday, 9am to midnight Saturday, 9am to 7pm Sunday

Bring a team or find a team.

48 hours straight to make something great.

Join a team of mentors and camp counselors for the world's most original hackathon. Team up with an expert or a new friend to build the project of your dreams.

Try for one of several exciting challenges from our sponsors:
  • TODA—Ethereum On Toda: build apps same way you have built on Ethereum—but benefit from additional elements that are done by design. Scalability is only one of them, but more importantly: Security (fully decentralized), confidentiality by design, and interoperability without anyone in the middle.
  • Kintone—Build scaleable Web apps with no coding required. Consume a variety of data sources, or create your own extension to the Kintone platform for special recognition.
  • Kryptonic—Bring a project in progress, or a team ready to go, and open source a portion of your project for extra credit in the showcase. The team will be looking for applications of decentralized and blockchain concepts.
