On the 12th Day of DKA my local yarn store offered me...

20% off Berroco Macro Yarn
AND
20% off Yarn Bowls

The yarn we are happy to ship but we just don't have the skills to ship yarn bowls. That deal is in-store only.

You all know and love this super bulky yarn.

A few of the most popular projects at the shop this year were made with Berroco Macro.

Of course, our "What's in your Basket" kit was one. And the Durand Cowl was the other. One skein makes the basket or cowl. One skein would make our Quick Bulky Mittens too!

Remember, our 12 days are cumulative, so you can still get...

20% off Louisa Harding Yarns
$1 Makers' League Patches
$10 in Darn Knit Dollars with a $25 or greater purchase.
Sirdar Baby Yarns $4 and $5 a skein.
Free bag when you spend $60 (very limited supply left)
20% off Zauberballs
30% off Fair Isle
30% off Berroco Vintage DK
30% off Katrinkles (very limited supply left)
30% off Luminosa
30% off Class Registration

That's it, no more daily emails from me! Thanks for riding along!

Christmas Eve

The shop will be open tomorrow, Christmas Eve, from 10 - 2.

It will be the Carly and Aimee show.

If we could still fit into these sweaters our Nanny Jean made us...omg...37 years ago...we would wear them!

If you are looking for last minute help with a dropped stitch or looking for a project to get you through Christmas Day, we'll be here for you.

Stop in and say hi!

The 12 Days of DKA will continue through Christmas Eve too. Mainly because we're too exhausted to take all the signs down:)

We are so grateful for all of your cards and gifts. We have enjoyed every cookie, toffee, and cup of coffee. You guys are the best! We hope that our little 12 Days of DKA felt like a bit of a gift from us to you.

We hope you find some moments of peace in these crazy days!

They may throw it away

If you are reading this newsletter, odds are you have handcrafted something for someone you care about this holiday season.

I give you this to think about.

Things you’ve knit for people, may get thrown away.

Things you’ve crocheted for people, may be given to a neighbor.

Things you’ve quilted, sewn, stamped, beaded, cross-stitched, and calligraphied (is that a word?) may be put in the Goodwill box.

But they may not.

They may be put away in a treasures box and pulled out 24 years later.

This one was.
